Chris attended a small, "lukewarm" church while growing up. During those years, he did not receive solid Bible teaching and would describe himself as "playing church" and "going through the motions." Although he was part of a church and intellectually believed the truths of the Bible, he did not genuinely trust Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
After completing a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mathematics at Penn State University, Chris went back to PSU for a Master of Science (M.S.) in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research. During his first year of graduate school, the Lord providentially allowed Chris to experience difficult trials. At the age of 23, during the most trying time of His life, God graciously intervened, saved him, and completely changed his life.
Chris and his wife Jennifer have been blessed with two sons, Aaron and Caleb.
Since 1999, Chris has regularly taught various Bible studies, small groups, and adult classes. Chris worships at Grace Reformed Presbyterian Church in Gibsonia, PA, where he serves as an elder. He holds a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree from the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary (RPTS) and is a licentiate (i.e., certified as eligible to preach and to receive a pastoral call) in the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America (RPCNA).
Chris has been working as a full-time Engineer at FedEx Ground since 2000, where he focuses on Operations Research and Business Modeling. In 2002, he began leading Logos Bible Fellowship, a work Bible study which meets weekly during lunch.
